As the bluebonnets began to bloom I got excited about taking Ashlyn's picture in them. Little did I know that it would be quite an adventure. At first Ashlyn was not a fan of the bluebonnets. She would just cry when I set her down on the blanket. 
I tried to show her that the flowers were not going to hurt her. However, she was not convinced.
So we decided to try another spot to see if it would prove any more successful. And it was! The only thing that I could figure out was that the first spot was in the sun and the second one was more in the shade. Or maybe she decided to just humor her mother and be a good sport for a little bit. Either way I was able to get some cute pictures of her in the bluebonnets. Here are a couple of my favorites.
